Accelfunding LLC has set up an opportunity fund program to contribute capital into affordable housing deals.

Opportunity Zones are a new community development program that was established by Congress via the Tax Cut Jobs Act of 2017.

An Accelfunding LLC sponsored Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF) will purchase an affordable housing project. The projects will be located in a Federal Opportunity Zone. The investor will receive a return in the form of tax losses for 10-15 years.

The QOF will contribute capital to individual projects upon attainment of specific benchmarks including: Initial partnership (QOZB) agreement closing and closing of funding sources.
